DESCRIPTION:RIVANNA WATER & SEWER AUTHORITY \nINVITATION FOR BID # 448 \nAirport Road Pump Station & Ground Storage Tank Improvements \nThe Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority (RWSA) is soliciting sealed bids from experienced\, qualified\, and interested firms to construct a new ground storage tank and improve the existing Airport Road Pump Station to provide additional water storage capacity and enhance system reliability. \nIn general\, work includes: \n\nConstruction of a ground storage tank complete with safety and access equipment\, mixing system\, and overflow piping\nImprovements to the existing stormwater collection system\nSite work: grading\, fencing\, and landscaping improvements\nSite piping: connections between the pump station and storage tank\, and an altitude valve with bypass piping\nImprovements to the existing electrical power distribution system to increase electrical service size to the facility and backup power generation\nInstallation of associated mechanical\, electrical\, instrumentation\, and control systems\n\nA Non-Mandatory Online Only Pre-Bid Meeting will be held October 6\, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. EST. \nThe Authority will assume no responsibility for oral instructions or interpretation. Any procurement questions regarding this solicitation that may change the specifications in this solicitation must be received in writing by the Authority no later than 3:00 PM EST on October 9\, 2026. If clarifications or changes to the original solicitation documents are required\, a formal addendum will be prepared. All addenda will be posted to the Commonwealth of Virginia’s eVA and is the Offeror’s responsibility to obtain all addenda from the eVA portal. \nDeadline for sealed bid submission is 3:00 PM EST on Thursday\, October 22\, 2026.
