In general\, the work includes electrical work\, building foundation and pre-engineered metal building\, associated mechanical and electrical equipment\, relocation of underground utilities\, site work (grading\, fencing\, and driveway improvements)\, site piping (backwash supply\, backwash waste\, GAC effluent\, and clearwell influent water main)\, installation of process equipment for additional GAC treatment\, GAC contactors\, intermediate services pipes\, process piping\, and construction of a new cast-in-place concrete clearwell structure. \nMBE/WBE FIRMS: MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must comply with the following: the President’s Executive Order # 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race\, color\, creed\, sex\, or national origin; the President’s Executive Order #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the David-Bacon Act; and Section 70901 of P.
