Bids must be received by 3 pm at the Rivanna Administration Building\, 695 Moores Creek Lane\, Charlottesville\, VA 22902-9016\, or by 3 pm for those submitting electronic bids via eVA’s electronic bidding system.  South Rivanna Reservoir to Ragged Mountain Reservoir 36-inch Raw Watermain\, SFRR Intake\, and South Rivanna Raw Water Pump Station – IFB 436.  Check for addendums posted on eVA.  Bids will be opened at 3 pm at the Rivanna Administration Building\, 695 Moores Creek Lane\, Charlottesville\, VA. \nSummary of Work: \n\nPerformance of all work as described in the Contracted Documents.\n\nSFRR to RMR 36-Inch Raw Water Main. To include but not limited to:\n\nProvide approximately 33\,500 linear feet of 36-inch ductile iron raw water main and associated appurtenances\, to include installation of new valves\, fittings\, air release valve assemblies\, blow-offs assemblies and hydrants\, associated traffic control and restoration.\n\nApproximately 225 linear feet of the 36-inch water main will be installed via trenchless methods within a 54-inch steel pipe under Ivy Road and CSX Railroad.\n\n\n\n\nSFRR Intake & SRRWPS. To include but not limited to:\n\nProvide eight (8) 46-inch diameter stainless steel full barrel intake screens and approximately 200 linear feet of 66-inch steel casing pipe\, installed using microtunneling methods.\nConstruction of a one-story brick veneer on cast in place concrete wall building\, approximately 3\,800 square feet.\nProvide six (6) 500-HP and three (3) 300-HP raw water pumps and associated piping\, valves\, appurtenances\, mechanical\, electrical\, and telemetry equipment within SRRWPS.\nInstall\, test\, and startup a 1000kW Emergency Generator\, as shown in the Drawings and as specified. Note: Emergency Generator is an OFCI item.\nProvide all associated yard piping\, discharge piping\, valving and site improvements as shown on the Drawings within the SRRWPS site.\nInstall a Debris Barrier system. Note: Debris Barrier system is an OFCI item.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRMRWPS. To include but not limited to:\n\nProvide three (3) 250-HP pumps\, three (3) 36-inch electrically actuated plug valves\, one (1) 24-inch flow control and metering valve\, one (1) 6” surge anticipator valve\, and one (1) 6” pressure relief valve.\n\n\nNew Permanganate Building.
