Invitation for Bid (IFB 431)
GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON REPLACEMENT
The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the installation of new (virgin) granular activated carbon (GAC) and the removal, reactivation and installation of spent GAC. All GAC material and services will be utilized at the five (5) water treatment plants (WTPs) operated by the Authority. The Authority intends to secure all material and services through a Blanket Purchase Order (the Contract). The Contract shall cover a required two-year period beginning on or about the Bid Award Date and end 24-months later with the option to extend the contract for an additional four (4) one (1) year terms.
Sealed bids can be received at 695 Moores Creek Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22902 or submitted electronically on the eVA website until 3:00 PM on September 26, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
